SNM UK - HISTORY REPEATS ITSELF - SERENDIPITY

Clairedolby3_2 Over thirty years ago when I arrived in Cambridge, England in February 1977, the first student to sign up in my weekly natural medicine classes was (Claire Savage) now Claire Dolby D.O. & R.C.S.T. After our initial 6 weeks of exploring all aspects of natural medicine from iridology to herbs to reflexology to shiatsu to naturopathy home treatments and more, Claire also took the massage training and worked on her own self healing.

Transformed from a music teacher to a natural healer, Claire went on to take her Osteopathy Degree at the London College of Osteopathy in 1983/87, and then studied with Franklyn Sills in Devon on the very first Cranio-Sacral Training at Curtis Knowle House in Totnes, Devon, where the Karuna center was at the time.

Claire established a clinic over the next years and assisted the Prenatal & Birth Training in Zurich with Ray Castellino DC for the next 5 years. She became senior tutor at Karuna Institute, Devon, around 1995 and since then has taught in the USA, Spain, Switzerland, Germany and Ireland. She now specializes in prenatal and birth work and has a busy childrens' clinic at Marlborough House in Taunton, Somerset, where she sees newborns and older children as it is now recognized that many developmental difficulties in young children and some behavioral patterns may have their root in prenatal or birth experiences.

In CST work with babies and older children Claire explore how their history may be affecting them both physically and emotionally, seeking to resolve early traumatic memories and help the body relax and resolve them, leaving an overall sense of ease and contentment and an increase in health.

I saw Claire in Boulder, Colorado a few years ago when we both attended a workshop with Jaap Van Der Vaal on Embryology. Amazing how things come full circle. Looking forward to sharing all the amazing work on Iridology & Natural Medicine with Claire this summer in the School of Natural Medicine UK in Devon, England - a time for reunion and a time for new connections. SNM ICELAND HEALTH MASTER SCHOOL MAY 2008

Fheartman

Here I am in Iceland again - sitting on the heart of a red stone astrological figure centered in a beautiful carved rock mandala. I'm staying for nearly a month this time - beginning with the Summerhouse holiday with co-directors Lilja and Gitte where Gitte made Mind Maps of all our projects - then teaching a Master Touch Reflexology and a 6 day Immersion completing the first year of Iridology & Natural Medicine studies in our School of Natural Medicine International 3 year Naturopathy Health Master Iceland training in Reykjavik, Iceland.

Liljaepob

Lilja had just presented a beautiful booth at the Health Expo, featuring Young Living Essential Oils and signed up 60 distributors, along with two Englishmen who run YLO in London. Gitte was busy catering a living food seminar in Solheimer, 73 year old eco-village  retreat center, a fantastic valley with a warm microclimate, its own hot spring and organic gardens and restaurant and beautiful architecture.

Gmindmapw

As well as the classes I am meeting with students from previous years, dear Iris, Vaka and Magga; taking a day trip to Solheimer where we will be holding our yearly retreat starting in June 2009 as each year graduates along with a swim in my favorite Hveregerthi hot spring and a visit to a cave; potluck and gathering with the 2007 group; enjoying an open house at Yggrasil, the local organic healthfood store, for prospective students, meeting new students entering the 2008 group, an oil gathering and of course our SNM planning meetings. I also usually love to see Kristbjorg, creator of Iceland Nature Essences, who is also a graduate of the Master Iridologist SNM training from 2000 and a teacher in SNM both in Iceland and Colorado. All the SNM Master Iridologist graduates are also having their yearly meeting while I am in Iceland.

Fllichendreamsw

While every day is full I also enjoy lovely long walks, hot springs and pools swimming and browsing in the wonderful creative boutiques for felted wool creations and Icelandic fashion, Even better, having tea in Hlomahlind, the organic wireless vegan coffee house/cafe with friends.

Spring is bursting here and the days feel warmly freshly crisp. When you walk past a budding tree the aroma of the green is intoxicating - why? perhaps a combination of the excitement of growth after the long dark winter meeting the pure bright air of an Icelandic spring. It is bright light now till past ten o'clock and the days will continue to lengthen until June 21st solstice when it will be 24 hrs of light - the summer form of the northern lights.

Just bought the latest Sigur Ros album, fantastic, and read the novel, The Blood of Flowers, by Anita Amirrezvani, about a woman carpet maker in 17th century Iran. I delight in the transition times when I can let go of all the known schedules and drift invisibly in time for a while. Enjoy the pics - more later!!!

THE EYES OF THE WORLD IRIDOLOGY TRAINING

Katelinmandalaw School of Natural Medicine, Boulder, Colorado Iridology six day training in April 2008.

"It is such a pleasure to learn in an open loving environment that you have provided.  I feel a huge inspiration after the classes."  Love, Katelin (recently moved from Chicago to be near the school)

Six days of Iridology & Natural Medicine, of discovering the mystery and beauty of life as manifested in the iris of the eye, took both students and teachers into deep learning and evolving.

"I enjoyed the class and greatly appreciated the opportunity to learn." Senakhu, Denver

Bill Fanning taught two days of Foundation of the Language of Iridology & Iridology iris drawing, photography and computer technology. Krista filmed the class in support of teacher training and archiving with the wonders of modern technology offering the entire day of film on one chip and the download each night on to a DVD. Amazing.

Billiridteachw All the students had their latest iris photographs and some comparison iris photos up for analysis with Farida for evaluation in relation to self-healing experiences, progress and iris changes. Case histories were shared  by Farida from her 30+ years of viewing and photographing irises in relationship to purification, regeneration and transformational healing processes. The class viewed powerpoint presentations of the history of the school, the language of iridology, constitutions, Rayid Model, Time Risk, iris charts, Angerer's iris drawings as well as many examples of irises.

Kristacameraw The iris mandala project opened the creative field of integration, understanding and self-knowledge and some amazing and beautiful creations manifested. An essential understanding of how your own irises relate to your life processes expands the potential to understand clients' irises and the practitioner's ability to inspire and educate them. Besides that. it is totally fun!!!

Our next Iridology & Natural Medicine trainings are in at SNM UK in Devon, England, www.herenowhealing.com during July & August, and then in November 6 - 11 2008 in Boulder, Colorado. The SNM Iceland school completes its first year Iridology in September and then moves on to a year of Herbal Medicine, reflexology and oils. Beautiful teaching times ahead for all!!

Cassnichw_3

Cassandra and Nichole explore the meanings hidden in their iris.

The training was a full, rich and enjoyable time for both teachers and students. When we view the iris in relationship to a person's unique life we come to a potent understanding of the relationship of the inner ecology to the outer ecology and gain the understanding and skills to become independently healthy.

Danielsenakhuw_3

Daniel and Senakhu take turns looking in each other iris.

Self-healing becomes a way of life. We learn to understand our own body, listen to its messages and gain skills to lovingly care for ourselves or move difficult health issues through our bodies as we learn cause and effect. We honor our body temple and prepare for better things to come and the fulfillment of our live purpose.
