Donna contacted me in 2005 after visiting all the four year naturopathy colleges in the USA in person, yet not finding a resonant school, and after listening to her fears and concerns, I said, "You have so many health issues, why not try self-healing, and if that works for you, then come and study." Donna explored her self-healing long distance and was so impressed with the results, she studied with SNM Boulder, over two years, attended the Puerto Rico Ann Wigmore Institute with SNM Naturopathy retreats twice, and graduated as a Naturopath and Living Food Teacher, including also essential oils, and reflexology in her training. After graduation, she felt drawn to body work after experiencing a demo on the Maya Abdominal massage and Chi Nei Tsang in a naturopathy class.
Her lovely healing massage center at her home in Louisiana (yes she survived the hurricane), Abita Springs, celebrates "Where Nature Performs Miracles." Here, her extended training in Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Therapy, visceral manipulation, chi nei tsang, craniosacral, diet, healing baths, naturopathy and herbal remedies are integrated into comprehensive sessions." Donna also works with pregnant women, offering Universal Healing - One Womb at a Time.
Congratulations, Donna. Wonderful how each student finds their way to their true offering, and as her website quotes: "You make a living by what you get; you make a life by what you give." Winston Churchill
