HALLOWEEN IN BANGKOK, THAILAND

It is interesting to enter the immense city of Bangkok, intense energy streaming through me after being in wild raw nature on a remote Philippine island. Amidst the excitement, enjoyment and enthusiasm for the energy of the capital of Thailand, and the pleasure of hot baths and cozy beds in a hotel, shopping, restaurants and the joy of being with family. Saw Surf’s Up with my four year old grandson and his dad, my son, and loved it - his dad being a surfer and such a fine story of learning and growing. Saw the more scary Stardust with my nine year old granddaughter on Halloween. She was thrilled by tattoos, a witch hat and acting out with painted bleeding scars on her face. Thailand enjoys Halloween and the Paragon Mall was full of zombies and every scary monster and witch you can imagine – and we went through a haunted house experience and screamed several times – it was really scary. FUN!

At fantastic sales, I bought a dress that fulfilled my criteria for a dress I can be happy in!! as well as outfitting my nine year old granddaughter for the next year with beautiful bargains at the premier malls and supporting my daughter with her fun choices.

Taiwan Reflexology, I had one of the most incredible reflexology treatments in my life by a practitioner who displayed huge calluses along each thumb. He specialized in long deep strokes on various parts of the feet that kept going deeper. Even though he discovered sensitive areas it was done in a way that allowed depth healing. I learned a lot and experienced new techniques I had never imagined. My right thyroid was down, and small intestines were sensitive, and the rest, kidneys and stomach I already knew from my own body and chi nei tsang abdominal massage.

Self Healing is my primary personal agenda during this time of year and I make sure I enjoy my rejuvenation by exploring and visiting and learning and studying at the same time. Every couple of days I take a long herbal steam followed by an oil or thai massage and while they are never quality connected treatments, they do offer relaxation and balancing and renew energy. My regular visit to the Dental Hospital always makes me happy too as the prices are so reasonable, a fraction of what they charge in America, and the work is world class.

Glad to be leaving Bangkok behind tomorrow as we fly to Phuket for a week on a tropical Andaman island followed by Tao Garden north near Chiang Mai. Visiting a wonderful new friend, Nadine, who is creatively active with spa projects on Phuket. More on Phuket soon. Healing adventures continue.

WELCOME WONDERFUL GRACE WITH A GRATEFUL HEART

Wondergrace

Couldn't help but admire this wonderful grace message on a drink machine! Grace is wonderful. Let us welcome wonderful grace with a grateful heart. Will return to blogging and want to feature the amazing changes in my Icelandic SNMI partners eyes, Lilja from 2000 and Gitte from 2002. Yes irises do reflect our choices, our healthy lifestyles or our choices and our unhealthy lifestyles. Yes the choice is up to us. Let's make self healing our positive choice and conscious lifestyle.

ADVENTURES CONTINUE IN HONG KONG

FaridakyinofferingTarah, Shae and I are transitioning with four days in Hong Kong - a forest of tall buildings. Fortunately at our hotel we can walk and run along the Harbor and take the Star Ferry which we did yesterday to see the Giant Buddha at the Lantau island monastery.
Here is my favorite Kwan Yin statue, holding the lotus in all its forms as an offering to the divine.

They are off today to view 10,000 Buddhas while I am blogging after a lovely morning walk along the harbor. This afternoon I will visit the award winning Mandarin Oriental Spa and meet a friend. Browsing is my style, exploring and discovering, and just absorbing the life and energy of a new place.

Excited to be flying to Thailand Friday to enjoy family and then exploring spa possibilities in Phuket before the Chi Nei Tsang Training at Tao Garden near Chiang Mai.

Expanding horizons are a good feeling, Heather reports good connections, new students and is sending a newsletter our soon.
All is well. Continue on to truth, and light and service.

Our theme yesterday: create harmony and enjoy each others' quirks with good humor and fun as we transform our challenges into our greatest gifts.

Groupradiant Our farewell group shot on the beautiful private white sand beach before leaving on the catamaran for El Nido, then on to Manila to catch flights to Hong Kong.

Vala flying to Iceland, Guna and Heithur with family in New Territories Hong Kong for a week before continuing on to the Caribbean, and Shae, Misty and myself in Hong Hong till Friday.

Traveling is an art that leaves us a continual student - enjoying and learning as we go!!!

While we all rave about our heavenly paradise I truly wish to give credit and appreciation for the effort, discipline and dedication to the cleanse program. Every one contributed positively to the group as they went through the process and I so appreciated the mutual loving support and good company. Well done everyone. The perfect group in harmony through personal responsibility - heaven on earth or as near to it as we can come. LOVE.

FUN AT SPA ASIA WELLNESS SUMMIT IN MANILA

Fperlafarm
An amazing and wonderful day at the Spa Asia Wellness Summit in Manila, Philippines - Nikki, SNM Naturopathy student, now Spa Manager at the fabulous i.sawan spa at the Sukhumvit Hyatt Hotel in Bangkok shrieked my name and we hugged with laughter, then there was Carol, a wild Himalaya healer who recently invited my daughter and granddaughter to her home, then there were two ladies who attended seminars with me in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia at Natural Harmony healing center many years ago and so many other loving and friendly and interesting connections.

It is fascinating to discover the visionary trend of Michael Loh, director of Spa Asia, toward zero carbon conference, all green, charitable gifting, integrity and conscious connection. Fantastic atmosphere for change and new ideas to grow - the conference is a hot bed of creativity and power.

Above is a pic of myself with Perla, owner of The Farm, where I stayed most bouyantly and happily for five days.Aaah this world would be a different place if there were more sanctuaries of depth and true health and healing.

Exciting possibilities of training at new spas opening....meanwhile enjoing being myself and radiating light and love to all I meet and having a really fun time doing that. On the 5th five students arrive to join me for our visit to Private Island in Palawan for two weeks of pure nature and depth cleanse rejuvenation amongst divine soul connection company. Life has many blessings and enough challenges to create appreciation and gratitude - my favorite way to enjoy life! Love to all - Farida

THE FARM HIPPOCRATES SPA IN PHILIPPINES

Flowermandala1_2
Here I am in the Philippines, now in Manila at the Spa Asia Conference after a magnificent five day rejuvenation at The Farm at San Benito, two hours from Manila near Lipa City. What a beautiful place - where else could I wander along in a vast luxuriant garden in the night, feeling absolutely safe and in love with potent deep nature, surrounded by the energy of breathing radiant vegetation and ancient trees. The rest and rejuvenation was deep, the vegan restaurant fantastic and the staff most loving and kind. The massage therapists create beautiful flower mandalas every morning as a meditation before giving sessions, and also enjoy a half an hour rejuvenation between clients. I love the owners, Perla and Ekhart, and feel deeply connected to their vision and their beautiful land. I will return and highly recommend The Farm for integrity, caring service and delightful nature. The picture below is the warm waterfall pool where I swam early in the morning on my own.

FARIDA FARE-WELLS & WELL-COMES

Faridafarewell

My departure began with a beginning - a beautiful invitation from Noella, SNM ND student, to enjoy a tipi-tea party at Star Garden north of Boulder, where five women shared, ate delightful raw treats and blended synergy nectar tea and then made a Mother Divine essence in the garden. Today, September 24, I fly to the Philippines to begin my sabbatical - Heather, Shaye and Noella will co-create the school in my absence and I will be in touch by email and blog posts - thank you Noella for sharing your garden.

ICELAND NATURE ADVENTURES

Faridalight

After the richness and fullness of teaching, Sunday was a holiday. My dear friend Ruscha was here from England to explore Iceland and Kristbjorg (visited Boulder in July to co-teach Flower Essences) and an SNM Master Iridologist was our nature guide.

Flavalichenw

We set off early in the morning to the ski area in the hills beyond and above Reykjavik, where I gave my first training 12 years ago, a beautiful lava lichen land, and after finding the entrance to the gave Kristbjorg led us through a initiation visualization toward our deepest goals - and as synchronicity would have it - we all had similar visions of finding deep roots in nature to settle during our elder years.

Caveentrancew

The lava tube cave was 1/2 kilometer long and completely dark - we had a guiding light and followed Kristbjorg until we found the light at the other end of the tunnel - my camera flash lit it up beautifully with incredible colors and sparkles and  beauty along the way.

Lavacave

We each reached for the light and returned to the beautiful Icelandic lichen, moss, blueberry, herb, wild grass velvet covering over the lava - and misty rain had turned to sunshine!!! Then off to the geyser hills beyond Hvergerdi, my favorite hot springs, to soak where a hot river meets a cold river, creating perfection soaking pools.

No words can explain the exhilarating water, the sparkling energy, the bright light of the sun and water, and the beauty of this magic place. We glowed fully from insideout as we made our way back home - an evening of rest, a Monday morning of work, and the last two teaching evenings begin for the first SNMI Naturopathy Health Master Immersion.
