SNM GRAD CREATES FLOWER ESSENCE COMPANY

Noella Roselena was a delightful creative and heart song presence in the School of Natural Medicine Flower Essence and Essential oils trainings in 2006 and attended the advanced SNM Naturopathy Purification Regeneration Retreat led by Farida Sharan at the Wigmore Institute in Puerto Rico. During her time at SNM, she grounded her amazing sensitivity to plants and flowers into creating her Synergy Essences company. Enjoy her website at Roselena Alchemy.

Noella grew up in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada in California, and is blessed with many siblings and a family tree with many branches.  Her papa, Leo Baldonado, inspired her connection with nature at a young age through camping, hiking and swimming in the mountains. Her mama, Ellen Jasmer, CNM, influenced and inspired Noella by using natural medicine in her midwifery practice and everyday life.

Noella had her first powerful experience with flower essences as a teenager.  Years later she rediscovered essences, and their subtle yet powerful healing ways, from Patricia Gleason, of Patricia’s Transitions, in Hilo, Hawaii.  Patricia mentored Noella, encouraged her to make essences and  Noella began listening to the Nature Spirits guiding her to make the essences that are now called Synergy Essences.

In 2006 Noella moved to Boulder, Colorado and studied in the School of Natural Medicine Naturopathy progam and became certified as a Flower Essence Practitioner and Essential Oil Therapist. She also worked with one of the SNM herbal teachers, Marco Lam developing Earthstar Farm Flower Essences.

Noella writes songs, sings, plays the guitar and other instruments, under the name of “Shaela Noella” that encompasses the sound of the ocean water meeting the sandy earth, a name given to her by the spirit of Hawaii. Noella often brought her guitar to classes and everyone enjoyed her beautiful voice and original lyrics.

Noella recently returned to the West Coast of California and plans Synergy Essence workshops and musical performance tours. Well done Noella for diving so deeply into self healing personal evolution and manifesting the creativity of your divine purpose! You will always represent the sincere effort, gift and achievement of a truly loving and passionate student and master of her own life potential. SNM GRAD BEGINS HER OWN HEALTH COACH BIZ

The beautiful, Cheri, graced our classes last spring and summer, and then returned to California where she found a study program of nutritional coaching to help her start her own business, web site and all Omni Tree Healing

"I am Cheri Rosser owner of Omnitree Healing. I knew early on that I wanted to work in the healing arts. I chose psychology as my major in college and earned my BA in the spring of 2011. I learned quite a lot about suffering, all that was wrong with people, and the world as a reflection. I spent years listening to lectures that left me feeling cynical, disappointed and overwhelmed.

I was also suffering with my own mental and emotional issues. Chronic anxiety and debilitating panic attacks had become a normal part of my existance. No matter how many psychology classes I took or how many professional I spoke with, my anxiety remained. I wanted to heal, but not with all the pills doctors handed to me so carelessly. Life was a constant struggle but I carried on.

I knew I wanted to continue my education but the thought of going to graduate school to learn more about behavior disorders and psychological torture was unattractive to say the least.

I went in the opposite direction of many psychology students and spent the summer studying natural medicine at The School of Natural Medicine in Boulder, CO. It was an incredible experience where I studied herbal medicine, healing diets, naturopathy and flower essences. There I was placed on a self healing program which included dietary changes, herbs, detoxing techniques and many healing modalities, as well as incredible love and support from my teacher, Farida Sharan, and fellow classmates.

For the first time in my life I was given the answers I was so desperately seeking. I began to heal and calm down from the inside out. It was a miracle, and more simple then anything I could have imagined. I returned in the fall with a new love and passion for food. Through my education I discovered the incredible healing powers of each bite we take.

Returning to California, I enrolled at the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. It is an incredible program where I have learned not only major theories on diet and lifestyle but the depth of food as medicine.

Through natural healing I have discoved a sense of peace and purpose that I would have never imagined possible. My mission is to take my experiences and share them with others."

 

OPENING THE PETALS OF MY TRUE INNER SELF

ANA: “Deeply plunging into the depths of my soul through the gift of flower essences, I was able to clearly see parts of my self in all of the 38 Bach Flower Remedies. It was powerful discovering that underneath each remedy is FEAR, and in order to release fear we need to look it in the eye. Now I feel like I can Re-lax!

BACH FLOWER ESSENCES TEACH SKILLS FOR LIFE

GINA: a new student, 19 years old, fresh from high school with a goal to open an Herbal Apothecary Cafe in a University town in south west England, begins her Naturopathy studies in the School of Natural Medicine in Boulder Colorado, with her class in the Flower Essences Bach Flower Remedy system. "I was extremely nervous and anxious when I walked up the steps not knowing then that this school would be one of the best things that has ever happened to me. I already feel myself healing and becoming a better person. After school on Friday I savored the entire day for about 30 minutes and from that moment on, I knew I would forever be and grow into a different person. It is as if I think and feel differently now, and I absolutely love every moment in class. I have never opened up to new people so much in my life and I felt like a weight was lifted off my shoulders. CHERI: From California to participate in autumn classes, Cheri completed her degree in Psychology before becoming inspired to study Naturopathy and participate in Self-Healing. HAYLEY: A local Colorado student, Hayley is a massage therapist dedicated to becoming a Naturopath. "FE I is giving me the ability to better understand the roots of why people are the way they are. Each person is SO different, but most patterns are the same. It is fascinating to begin to understand the intriguing ways of humans. Even more wonderful is the chance to learn why I act, and think the way I do! Not even I know! (Farida does - smile!) The class is helping me to oercome the obstacles in my life journey and I know it will help me with all my future issues as well!"

DANIEL: From Australia to study Naturopathy, Daniel returns for another 6 months, after taking classes during a 3 month visit last year. "The beautiful world of flower essences teaches me more than just about flowers. It opened my world to 38 different personality and emotional types and the ways in which Dr. Edward Bach's essences are used to heal emotional and mental imbalances. I gained a deep sense of understanding the world of vibrational healing for each and every one of us. With Farida's guidiance, I was able to recognize where there were patterns of imbalances and negative thought forms, either from past or present, and see the positive side or more appropriately, the healing side to emotional imbalances and thus what flower essence may be used to help overcome the imbalance."

SUBTLE VIBRATIONS OF FLOWER ESSENCES LEAD US DEEP INTO TRAUMA, EMOTIONAL RELEASE & PERSONAL EVOLUTION

As we begin the last day of our deep dive into the internal worlds of our six students of Flower Essence II with the Flower Essence Society essences, we are in awe of how the vibratory radiations of exquisite flowers have the power to release and heal the roots of personal dysfunction, allowing realization presence to begin the unwinding necessary to free the roots of fear, emotional wounding and survival strategies.

The first day, Maggie, near the completion of months of attending classes, dedication to self healing, work with case histories, and attendance at a 12 day naturopathy retreat, explored her internal world through the qualities of the flower essences. The afternoon was dedicated to a field trip, communion with plants and a mind map.

After each student completes their process, the group shares an integration exercise.

The second day, Julia and Hayley took the dive into internal realities, and the third, Daniel and Cheri, explored their beings through the lens of qualities inspired by the vibratory fields of flowers. We also watched DVD's created by the Bach Flower Center directors near Oxford, England.

Today our last day, Dila, experiences her self healing exploration through the FES essences, and the class completes with vibrational healing with Tibetan Bowls, acutonic tuning forks with our guest teacher, Diane Dula.

SOUL FLOWER - FLOWER ESSENCE RESONANCE

Acceptance, surrender and adjustment are qualities you develop as a teacher and school director or you don't end up having any fun! A class of 8 for Flower Essence II, then one by one 4 students transferred to the August class - moving, sholiday, work reasons and so on - and then happy with a class of four, one was caught in tornado lands, so a class of three greeted me on our first day. Much gratitude for acceptance, surrender and adjustment as spiritual practices to be present with what the universe offers as its bouquet.

I adjusted the schedule and then discovered diving deep into each student's process revealed a harvest or depth, richness and healing. Fantastic!

Ana: “Flower Essence II trainings has been an incredible and totally unexpected Gift of self-realization, transformation and release, and an incredibly opening and humbling experience I will cherish my whole life. After Day I, I could already feel how powerful it is to connect the truths of our lives and lifestyle to these amazing Flower Essence Society flower essences.

ELLA: I was surprised how deep I had to go before I could reach the flower essences. I was also surprised how deep I had to go into myself, how much work I had to do to arrive at my roots, and how much deeper I have to go. I was still blind to myself, as one might be when they look only at the part of the plant above the ground, but when I opened not only my eyes but my heart, I was able to enter a world I was amazed to find existed within me. I never knew there was a science so in tune with humanity, with the vibration of our gentle, precarious existence.

Flower Essence II taught me to dive deeper, look at the fragile, gentle parts, and be patient for things to grow. I t also reminded me of our connectedness and of the universality of human experience. Only with deep groundedness and the sincere desire to connect to others can we make a difference.”

Jennifer: FE II was a deep dive into our own current difficulties, how we were raised and what we encountered as children and adolescents plays a big role in the challenges we face today. Going through a worksheet of keywords and phrases led to an in-depth look at personality and flower essence ‘types’ we hugely learned from. From that work, we created a ‘master remedy’ for ourselves. Of course, being out in the field full of wild flowers and plants by the Boulder, Colorado foothills and a lovely stream, and then making a collective essence was a wonderful way to bring it all together, with a lot of heart.”

BACH FLOWER REMEDIES - A DAY WITH NORA WEEKS

A friend gave me Dr. Bach's Twelve Healers and Heal Thyself in 1976 in California, and I cried all the way through as they connected me in such a deep and profound way with levels of feelings and emotions I always knew existed but never had a language for. Within a few months, I was living in Cambridge, England, and my first trip was a day journey to the Bach Centre in Sotwell, near Oxford.

Nora Weeks greeted us when we arrived about 10 in the morning after a beautiful spring drive from Cambridge. She offered us tea and talked about Dr. Bach for a couple of hours: how he discovered remedies, how he suffered mental and emotional and physical states while he searched for remedies. She showed us the furniture he made and his clocks and then after a small lunch, took us around the most beautiful garden.

What an afternoon of bliss and happy company as we visited each remedy in the garden while Nora talked about them and give personal instruction and insights. As we traveled through the garden and the remedies, we collected cuttings for our own garden in Cambridge. At the end of the day I felt like I received a treasure that has stayed with me for over thirty years.

One important piece of advice rarely seen in books: stay with one remedy if you can find the most important one and take it very often until a shift happens, it tastes different or it is all gone.

When I arrived home I wrote a paper with all the positive aspects of the remedies that I had told Nora needed to be more emphasized. She died shortly afterward and later on the ones who carried on the Centre produced a book that included more of the positive aspects. Farida Sharan, School of Natural Medicine, Boulder, Colorado

D is a new student who along with her partner, received reflexology sessions from our advanced students last week. As it turned out she was experiencing severe night terrors for several nights, and had injured herself leaping out of bed.

She received a deeply relaxing session with Young Living Essential oils that included Trauma Life and Peace and Calming, and went away with a Bach Flower Essence of Mimulus and Red Chestnut. I am happy to know the session was so successful.

SINGING THE SONG OF LIFE - VIBRATIONAL SOUND HEALING HARMONICS COMPLETE THE FLOWER ESSENCE TRAINING

School of Natural Medicine's Flower Essence I training (a deep dive into self healing processes of each of the 38 remedies, left and right brain synchronized with drawing each remedy in color, relating the remedy portrait to life experiences with self healing and also with people we know in life) was celebrated with sound vibrational healing with Tibetan bowls and acutonic tuning forks on meridian points.

The previous day students worked out their own remedies, and dispensed a remedy to be taken over the next three days. Flower Essence II in the spring will focus on bodywork with the essences, combining oils and essences, making remedies indoors and outdoors, creating remedies with other ingredients like gemstones, shells, or coral, and taking time in nature to learn about how to see, feel, know plants in communion so that the plants speak to us of their vibration.

Our guest teacher, Diane Dula, trained by Tibetan monks, guided us through the day with her compassionate expertise and wide experience. We all felt totally tuned up by the end of the day. Forget auto tune ups! Lets tune up ourselves.

This is perfection in terms of the ether element completion of information into cellular body wisdom. The students release tears, memories, emotions and emerge singing with the song of life. The beautiful tones all blend together and fill our being creating a harmony in tune with the song of life.

ROCK WATER BACH FLOWER REMEDY - FLOWERS BLOOM OUT OF THE STONES OF TRAUMA

Dila, our student from Tajikistan, continues her depth naturopathy studies class after class in the School of Natural Medicine in Boulder, Colorado, each time releasing deeper levels of trauma from the civil war in her country and her settling in America.

Each class, she connects with the vibration of trauma, the fear, and the mind emotion grooves that set of the trauma, and each time she works through and releases, coming up shining and at peace.

Just like the beautiful yellow rock water blossoms emerging from the stones of trauma in her flower essence mind map, as peace and calm shine from Dila's face, we prove the profound power of vibrational medicine.

FLOWER ESSENCE CONTENTMENT - FACING ONESELF BRINGS PEACE!

This lovely photo of Heidi, our School of Natural Medicine graduate Naturopath, Master Herbalist, Master Iridologist graduate who runs Earth Pharmaceuticals, the SNM pharmacy/dispensary, as well as her own herb company, an organic herb garden, a practice, teaches at the SNM Herbal trainings and also creates her own herbal products, shows the deep relaxation from processing through the Bach flower essences. We use individual process as the students draw the remedy and mind map connections, experiences and understandings of the remedy.

"Farida, Class at Marco's yesterday was so incredible, I attached some pictures. Calendula flower essence had such a profound impact on me.  Spent the day writing and reflecting.  I wrote this poem about the Equinox:

Sweet orange Autumn
Gentle, somber, and hopeful.
The subtle bird
That takes summer under its wing
And slowly
Grows winter in its ever-ripening womb
Patiently awaiting it’s solstice birth.

SUN BLESSES FLOWER ESSENCE CREATION

Attunement to self mirrors attunement to nature. The day yesterday was cloudy in Boulder.

As we walked to our flower essence location by a stream the sun peeked out.

While the students rambled I rang the crystal singing bowl and the sky brightened.

When the students returned with flowers, it brightened more.

When all the flowers were placed in the bowl, it brightened with an immense sun blessing and as we placed our intention into the flower essence with song, touch and vibration the sky cleared.

We poured our essence into individual containers and left under an open sky.

Did the sky open for our flower essence creation? OR!! Did the creation of a flower essence open the sky. Let the sun shine in!!!

Four students celebrated their graduation from the Essential Oils class: Sheba from Chicago, Megan from Philadelphia, Eva from Minnesota and Renaya who moved to Boulder to be near the school. Congratulations. 

VIBRATIONAL HEALING, GONG, ACUTONICS & LAUGHTER

Fantastic the vibration songs of the universe - all is sound and light vibrations, coming through song, flowers, the fragrance of oils, touch, herbal plants, healthy natural food  - all there to heal, to make us laugh, to inspire joy and love.

The pictures tell it all - enjoy!! Our Flower Essence Practitioner training erupts in a bliss of joy and laughter as we tuned and are tuned to resonant frequencies of harmony and healing.

We made a flower essence in one of the bowls, mixing Bach flower remedies for unknown fear, negative thoughts and protection and then enhancing it with resonant vibrations.

Our wonderful teacher, Diane Dula, of Tibetan Bowls and Acutonics created magic in our healing teaching room. Diane studied with two Tibetan masters and her skills are profound.

The history of Tibetan bowls goes back centuries. I have a very old one myself, marked with a ring showing it was made for some special purpose.

We exchanged treatment sessions, experienced the bowls vibrating into our bodies, tuned ourselves with the Acutonic tuning forks, until bliss was a radiance that filled the room.

After studying the mind so deeply for three days with the Bach Flower Remedy states of mental, emotional, physical and spiritual imbalances and relating these complex imbalances to ourselves, this joyful play explored the deeper resonances of vibrational healing. 

Tomorrow, we dive deep once again into personal evolutionary self healing, make remedies in nature, and then apply flower essences with feathers to meridian points and time risk iris points on the forehead and feet.

What an amazing world we live in! What an amazing body we live in! Time to be an explorer of personal inner space and discover who you really are!!

FLOWER ESSENCE CREATION & SELFHEALING EXPLORATION

The Flower Essence Practitioner training at the School of Natural Medicine International in Boulder, Colorado, hosted guest teachers today – Catherine Munk (SNM Graduate) and Marco Lam DrOM - offered their experience and wisdom with flower essences. After two and a half days exploring the depth territories of each of the Bach Flower Remedies with Farida Sharan, Catherine shared her unique self healing experiences during her years of study with SNM, her understanding of vibrational healing, and her gifts of soul singing and music. Then we visited Marco Lam's garden where the group learned flower essence creation and experienced the resonance of Dandelion, Red Clover and Echinacea Flower Essences. Students also shared their experience of exploring their own mind, heart and spirit with each of the Bach Flower Remedies.

“The Flower Essence Training takes you deep into the beauty of each Bach flower remedy. By drawing each flower we deepen our connection to the flower and its medicinal properties. I have learned to see the flowers as more than a plant, but as a language of its own. During my enjoyable days with the Philippine healer and his gracious hosts, I met Diane Dula, an amazing healer who combines bodywork with hot stones, Tibetan gongs place on the body and filled with warm water and on meridians and acutonics to a masters level, all combining in a magnificent session designed to vibrate your being to new and altered levels. It works! I had a session and felt much benefit, having another next week.

And so, I invite this creative, sensitive and tuned being to contribute to our Flower Essence training beginning May 29, the day after my birthday, to the June 1st day so we can make flower essences in bowls that ring in harmonic resonance, so that we can play with the bowls in healing sessions with the flower essences in them, play with crystal bowls, and learn and feel and experience vibrational healing. What a joyous day awaits us after we plunge deeply into the mind, emotion, spirit roots of fear and flowers of courage as we explore the Bach Flower Remedies and other flower essence systems such as the nature essences from Iceland and Kristbjorg Kristmunsdottir. We will be ready, completely prepared, to receive.

Kristbjorg Teaches Icelandic Nature Essences

SNM students opened their hearts to Kristbjorg who taught Icelandic Nature Essence during the Flower Essence Certification at SNM Boulder, July 2007. Farida has known Kristbjorg for nearly 12 years as she graduated from the SNM Iceland Iridology & Naturopathy training in 2000, and came to the Puerto Rico Living Food program twice. Kristbjorg is an beauteous Icelandic goddess, a fountain of wisdom and experience, a joyous teacher and a spiritual role model. KK will teach flower essences during our up-coming three year Health Master Iceland SNM training in Rekjavik.

Hygeia has been with me for 23 years. I picked her up in Olympia, Greece along with Aesclepius the Greek God of Healing, our school mascot. I placed my Flower Crown on her head after our laughter joy filled celebrations after our Flower Essence Certification Training
