TARAH CELEBRATES GRADUATION IN MALAPACO

Tarahdress_2
Our beloved Tarah (Misty) from Boulder celebrates a new spiritual name as she graduates from School of Natural Medicine as a Natural Physician, having completed Naturopath, Master Herbalist, Master Iridologist, Divinity Touch Reflexology, Living Foods, Flower Essences and soon Divinity Touch Essential Oils.

Congratulations! Your beauty and accomplishments glow as well as your loving heart.

Tarah is a supreme athlete and yogini, swimming around the island, kyaking and enjoying her yoga practice, filled with enthusiasm as usual for learning everything new.

"A gorgeous tropical paradise and fantastic team fully supports the nourishing and cleaning of body, mind and spirit. I am forever grateful for this fantastic opportunity to go deep into my personal healing adventure."

RUNA RADIANT FROM MALAPACAO ADVENTURES

Gunaboat_2
Gudrun, affectionately, Runa, sister-in-law of Heithur, holds the important position of Traffic Controller at the Keflavik airport in Iceland, and so Runa enjoyed the rest and rejuvenation of a truly healing holiday

I have been in paradise for two weeks. I have regained my strength, body & skin.  I will go home a better person after staying with Leeann.  She is an unbelievable source of knowledge of health & the nature around her.  I give thanks for the opportunity to know her and the beautiful perfect staff!!

Nothing like two weeks of cleansing, exercise and bodywork to make you smile!

I’ve been in paradise for almost 2 weeks. What a gorgeous place to cleanse your body and mind! The beauty of this paradise is beyond words.  Leeann, thank you for your delightful spirit and caring love. I have been pampered by you all here.

I hope I will be able to come again to this heavenly-delightful place that I am just beginning to get the taste of.

THE FIRST TASTE OF FRUIT AFTER A CLEANSE - HEAVEN

Heithuryumtaste_5

Heithur, from Rejkjavik, Iceland, a SNM student of Divinity Touch Reflexology and Essential Oils, a fantastic bodyworker and dear friend, enjoyed her first taste of fruit after her cleanse.

"We have been living like a princess, drinking in the power from the nature. LeeAnn and her staff have embraced us with love and care.

LeeAnn is always teaching so many things about health, healing, detox and nature. This fast is the easiest most pleasant experience ever! I will return to Private Island."

DREAMS COME TRUE ON PRIVATE ISLAND, MALAPACAO

Shaecottage3b_2

SNM student with her own aesthetician practice in Longmont, Colorado, Shae is a beautiful healer priestess studying flower essences and essential oils. She radiates joyful health and healing after her cleanse and writes:

Here a chorus of insects and ocean waves is our lullaby.

The crescent moon glows brightly as a tiny sun.

The sky expansive and blue over the giant palms and calm sea - our guardians.

We sing and dance.

Heaven.

The smile of your maid as she appears with flowers to clean your room, a fantastic body session every day plus other natural beauty pamperings. Potent cleanse and detox support. All you need plus the amazing incredible beauty surrounding you.

Whether in company, relaxed in your beach cottage or enjoying classes or adventure kyaking or boating to other islands or El Nido town, there is a sense of ease, of rest, of belonging. Space opens. BEACH FIRES & FLOWER CROWNS IN MALAPACAO

Valacrowned

Adventures unfold on Private Island Natural Health Spa.

Magic unfolds day by day. New surprises. New treats. The beach bonfires are so beautiful with flowers and candles.  Last night we also burned dry coconut leaves on a raft and sent it blazing into the inland sea and then floated wish candles on the gentle tide. Heither, Runa and Vala, our three Icelandic goddesses, helped make the coconut candle holders and they also made beautiful crowns.

My cleanse report - After three days on ginger tea and calamansi lime drinks I have shifted to fresh coconut water. It is wonderful to hold the heavy green coconut decorated with a hibiscus flower and sip organic coconut water grown on this island. One week has passed so five days left to deep cleanse then I will add in a salad a day to prepare for our departure.

After our overnight in Manila at the Sofitel Hotel by the sea where I was for the Spa Asia conference we fly to Hong Kong with Tarah and Shae to enjoy shopping and adventures. Then I fly to Bangkok and family and consulting and then I take a Chi Nei Tsang training at Tao Garden with Elsepth, beloved SNM graduate from Perth, Australia – she brought me to Perth several times and we are planning Divinity Touch Oils for July next year. It will be wonderful to see her again.

GLIMPSES

Shae lying on the beach in the rain. Heither, Runa and Vala setting off in the catamaran to explore other islands. Vala running on the beach. All of us quietly sipping the evening vegetable broth in the upstairs lounge. Entering a bath filled with hibiscus flowers.  My beautiful smiling maid Mayee saying Ma'am Farida at the bottom of the stairs, coming to clean my beach cottage with flowers in her hand. The night stars and the fireflies radiating sacred geometry. The water absolutely still and the islands reflected in the water. The changing skies. The quick heavy rains that pass by and leave us fresh and cool. The perfect temperature here, always warm or slightly cool, so comfortable. Faces after their massages – all glowing and soft. The busy kitchen blending drinks, making coconut cream,  and creating beautiful trays to deliver to the cottages. We are in a healing paradise. Thank you LeeAnn for the loving care.

I am crowned!! Runa says. I am a Princess!!

Runacrowned_3

Heithurcrown                          I am a Goddess!! says Heither laughing with joy.

A fun afternoon preparing the banana bark candles for the bonfire new moon celebration ended in laughter and spontaneous delightful crowning of our island paradise

ENJOYING GODDESS HEALING MALAPACAO DAYS

Leeanngenius

Lee Ann's generosity (pic above) flows in so many ways organizing an abundance of bodywork, beauty treatments, classes, evening ozonated ginger, clay and baking soda jacuzzi alternating with beach fires or temple events with her smiling radiant staff. So many graceful touches with flowers decorations and leaf covers on drinks. Staff keep the rooms sparkling clean with bright friendliness and thoughtful support throughout the day with teas, cleanse drinks and preparations of coffee or herb teas for colema. Everyone here is treated like a goddess and radiates happiness. We have our own space and ebb and flow with interactions and enjoy the glimpses of each other through the day.  Cannot describe the loving friendliness and generous giving of each member of staff and therapists. We feel truly loved and appreciated for contributing to their life here and we certainly feel the same

GLIMPSESHeithurleaftreat_2

Shae and Tarah (Misty) in a kayak paddling with warrior strength; Heithur and Runa glowing after massages, Shae swimming slowly and beautifully far out in to the bay; Vala receiving a body scrub; Tarah swimming around the island and returning triumphant; Lee Ann leading the sword dance practice at sunset; all the girls making coconut oil and cream and sauerkraut. So many ways to pass the time here – our experience is truly beyond imagination.

I have been retreating to my beautiful Heart House most of the time, savoring quiet rest enlivened by breathing exercises, yoga and taoist practice, and going for a deep cleanse – just ginger tea and calamansi juice (their version of lemon or lime). Truly hope you are putting this trip on your wish list for next year...love to all  Farida

RED CARPET HIBISCUS WELCOME ON MALAPACAO

Hibiscusredcarpet

A red carpet welcome, a path of hibiscus on the sand, a flower lei placed lovingly around our neck as we emerged from the water after our catamaran half hour boat trip from El Nido on the northern tip of the long thin Philippine island, Palawan, that stretches nearly to Malaysia, and we are on Malapacao, Lee Ann’s magical Private Island Health Spa Retreat. We flew through rain all the way from Manila and by the time we reached Malacapao it was clear and we awoke to a pink world – sunrise in Palawan - the beginning of our first perfect day!  Sunrise, white sand, swimming, mud masks, massage, coconut cream body rubs, naps, hammock swings, healthy cleanse drinks, cups of tea – all divinely served with leaves and flowers – touches of generosity, grace, loving gestures everywhere – we are all very happy to be here!!!

After settling in and swimming, we shared a most beautiful salad lunch enhanced by raw sauerkraut and dressings.  Awakening from naps enchanted by sounds of waves we enjoyed a jacuzzi under the stars – ozonated water with clay, ginger and baking soda and then deep sleep lulled by the sound of waves.

Flwrleiwelcome

Five of us were blessed to share this healing adventure: we are: Tarah (Misty) from Boulder, our ND & MI grad and soon to be Master Herbalist and Natural Physician, Shae from Boulder, our Essential Oils and Flower Essence priestess, and then dear Heithur and Roona from Reykjavik, Iceland – Heithur a student of our Iceland Divinity Touch Reflexology and Essential Oils in 2006, and her sister in law – Vala is also from Rekjavik, committed to Self Healing and interested in working with children with focusing deep felt sense communication – a perfect group – one for each beach house and myself in the Heart house I stayed in last year.
