SELF-HEALING FLOWERS OF SPRING - FRUIT OF AUTUMN

 

The humble Salmonberry flower photographed on a day adventure walk in the wilds of Vancouver Island a couple of weeks ago in British Columbia is now in its flowering spring phase though it promises the fruit of the late summer and autumn, so delicious and abundant. Salmonberry is not celebrated like the blueberry or blackberry or raspberry, so it remains the secret happy feast of nature lovers and explorers, and of course the bears.

It was one of my favorite foods as I grew up, as I was often playing in the forest or by the river or beach all day and couldn't waste a moment to go home for lunch.

Just as nature teaches us its wisdom, this humble Salmonberry flower teaches us that our flowering commitment and passion and intention of the spring will bring the promise of delicious fruit in the autumn. Lets follow the truth of nature and nurture the garden of our life with the flowers of passionate commitment to live our dreams, sow the seeds of commitment and begin to honor the highest purpose of our life. Through Self-Healing we discover who we are and release the gifts and promise of all that we can be.

NEW GROWTH FROM OLD GROWTH - SNM CANADA

Coming home to where one was born and raised and receiving anew the freshness of moist sea air, the vistas of snow mountains and the vast expanses of sky in Vancouver, B. C. is both a return and a beginning. This beautiful picture taken in an old growth forest on Vancouver Island near Elk Falls last May 1st weekend shows a beautiful young tree taking root on the old as it makes good use of what was shed. I am excited to settle, write books, enjoy life at sea level after 21 years in the Rocky Mountains, and continue offerings of self healing and teaching.

I visited my older brother, Barrie, and his family in Campbell River and heard wonderful tales of the life he carved out of the wilderness on Murrell Island where he raises his family.

After two weeks of delightful sunshine a storm arrived with rain and it was wonderful to walk in the mists with damp hair and breathe in the moisture. The rain on the great vivid green skunk cabbage leaves was a symphony. I have always listened to rain on my Bose earphones on planes - now I have the real thing.

On the School of Natural Medicine front it was dynamic week connecting with new and old students, creating one on one immersions, enrolling students for Self Healing Immersions and classes, and creating my new base.  Things roll off around the 22nd May with the arrival of my first One on One immersion student for 5 days ready to dive deep into personal self healing. All I can say is YEAH. Let the unfolding begin.

Although Vancouver has grown into a cultured city of glass towers and international citizens the majestic landscape keeps everyone in touch with nature. I rode the Seabus today from North Vancouver over to the down town area and the harbor is alive with ships and the views are fantastic. Lucky students to come this way for classes. A new cycle  - a new sacred ground - new teachings. I am now settling in beautiful oceanic Vancouver, BC. for my own next cycle of creative service, trainings and writing. I have chosen a teaching environment that honors quality with dedicated students, small classes that enhance personal connection and a continuum of dynamic, joyful evolutionary self-healing.

My sister, Thais, a graduate of SNM who focused her work the past few years with the native community, conferences and travels around BC and Canada to work with the different tribal nations.  She sings from the soul, primal raw songs of healing when we are in nature and as we collect nettles and as we visit rivers and ponds and mountains and oceans we are renewed. Thais will contribute her amazing songs and healings to School of Natural Medicine Canada trainings.

I will continue to teach at SNM in England in June, and this June 5-8 I am leading a Flower Essence training and healing processes clearing fear with release, death, dying and transformation, and other classes in November yearly, but will not be teaching in Boulder, Colorado. I have been invited to teach the iridology and essential oils trainings in Australia in February and will return to India next March. I am writing new books, and continuing to craft profound self healing processes.

I am offering a new training concept that gives new students the opportunity to receive their consultation in person, especially if they live at a distance, and attend a small group (no more than 4 students at a time) for interactive training, guidance and support for their self-healing, iridology analysis presentations, together with self-healing processes where students explore and receive the benefits of essential oils and flower essences healing processes, master touch, learn the essentials of communication skills, meet like minded students seeking healing, evolution and professional training, and experience the profound healing that takes place in our wonderful school as students embody the path of their hearts.

The SH Immersion will also serve as Clinical Training for advanced students.

The new teaching space is near Granville Island, a humming marketplace on the sea with walks and parks, restaurants, galleries and boutiques. Easy to access from the airport and close to many choices of accommodation. Whether you are local or from afar you will enjoy visiting Vancouver. Because our class times allow free mornings you will have ample time to join with other students and explore and discover the beaches, parks and wonders of Vancouver. Take the ferries across the water to and from Granville Island to downtown Vancouver. Breathe in fresh ocean air and enjoy mountain vistas.

Students receive consultation before attending Self Healing Immersion $200 or enroll in the full Self Healing Module $1000. Credit toward all diploma and certificate trainings including three months of herbs, teas, flowers essences and mentoring. Full details emailed on request.

Fee for each six hour day of treatments and processing  US$500.
Treatments include: Master Touch Reflexology, Core Synchronicity cranial balancing, essential oils Raindrop, Auricular, NeuroAuricular, emotional healing, healing baths with oils and herbs, poultices, color therapies, communication skills processes, mentoring and more - a personal healing journey with Farida Sharan.

All students receive certifications for Oils 10 days, Iridology Foundation 5 days for USA, Canada, UK, Europe. Further classes for Reflexology, Living Food, Herbal Medicine will be planned later.
